I'd never ever been to Baltimore and in my head it was somewhat detrimental. But I was pleasantly astonished! Considerably of downtown feels like "city renewal" from the 1970's, previous historic properties are already scraped and replaced by Brutalist high rises. The historic neighborhoods themselves, like Fell's Point and Mount Vernon are way
